KHT Renews sponsorship support for King Edward Bay Golf Club's Junior Section

Knox House Trust Limited (KHT) is delighted to announce it has renewed its support of King Edward Bay Golf Club’s Junior section, with the agreement of a further 12 months sponsorship.

The Junior section was established three years ago and runs coaching sessions every Thursday evening throughout the summer at King Edward Bay Golf Club for children aged between 6 and 16 years.  The financial support from KHT will be used to cover the running costs of competitions, such as the recently held Junior Club Championships in addition to the purchase of essential equipment.

Commenting on the sponsorship, KHT Business Development Director, James Porter said; “We are pleased to continue our support and further assist the club in growing their Junior section.  The benefits of sport for young people is well documented, and so to be in a position to work with a local club that help develop and nurture aspiring young talent is something we are extremely proud of.  KHT is firmly committed to supporting local initiatives for the Island’s youth, and this renewed support is further testament to this.”

Speaking about the support from KHT, King Edward Bay Golf Club Captain, Kevin Murphy commented:  “We are extremely grateful to the team at Knox House Trust for their continued support of our Juniors.  We are proud to have created a fun and welcoming atmosphere at King Edward Bay, and with this support our team of organisers will be able to focus more on the coaching and providing more opportunities for young people to get involved and learn the game.”
