KHT Appoints New Director

KHT, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Patrick McCarrick to its Board of Directors in the role of Risk & Compliance Director.  This latest appointment forms part of the company’s ongoing growth and development plans, including expansion into international jurisdictions.

Patrick joined KHT in 2016 and has in excess of over 23 years’ experience within the Isle of Man financial services sector.  He is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (ICA) and during his career has held a number of Senior Compliance roles.  These include 4 years with a “big four” accountancy firm, where he gained a wide variety of industry knowledge and disciplines across a broad spectrum of financial services sectors, including Banking, Investment & Fund Management and Fiduciary Services.  In his new role as Director, Patrick will continue to work closely with Anthony Page (Managing Director) and the wider senior team to ensure that all statutory and regulatory requirements are carried out to the highest standards.

Commenting on his appointment, Patrick said: “Increasingly complex compliance obligations and an ever-changing regulatory landscape, not to mention the uncertainty of Brexit, has resulted in many businesses expanding their compliance resources in response to these changes, and KHT is no exception.  Changing client needs and our ambitions to exceed them has led us to consider expansion further afield.  For me to now have a stronger presence in the senior management team where I can help shape the future of the business is a very exciting position to find myself in.”
