Following our support of the ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign, Knox House Trust (KHT) is delighted to report that they raised £422.35 for Breast Cancer Now. The team held a cake bake sale event on Thursday 25th October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Speaking about the event, Voirrey Collister (Head of Private Clients & Operations) said; “KHT staff had a fantastic time baking and indulging in support of Breast Cancer Now. The event was a great success and all involved are delighted to have been able to contribute to such a fantastic charity during their awareness month.”
Volunteering in the Isle of Man for Breast Cancer NOW, Sandy Denning, said; “Our thanks go to Voirrey and all the team at Knox House Trust. Thank you so much for holding a pink day/bake sale for Breast Cancer Now and raising an amazing £422.35.”
She continued: “ All the money raised goes towards research which is focused on 4 key areas; Risk & Prevention, Early Diagnosis, Treatment and Secondary Breast Cancer. We believe this approach to research will enable the charity to achieve their ambition that by 2050, everyone who develops Breast Cancer will live and live well! Thank you again.
