Knox House Marine & Aviation (“KHMA”), a division of leading trust and corporate service provider Knox House Trust Limited, will be attending the 29th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (“MYS”), which takes place in Port Hercules from the 25th to 28th September 2019.
Leading the KHMA team once again this year will be James Porter (Business Development Director), who will attend to promote the firm’s award-winning yachting and corporate services. James regularly attends the show to gain a close up of the large yacht industry marketplace as a whole and to identify what opportunities exist for firms such as KHMA.
Speaking ahead of the show, James commented: “Yacht owners face the unknown with an increasingly complex and ever-changing regulatory landscape, particularly within EU waters. Both existing and potential yacht owners need to ensure that they are working with experienced industry professionals who understand the landscape and have the requisite technical knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel whether it is operated privately or commercially.”
“The owner profile is also changing and a younger demographic is coming to the forefront. These millennial entrepreneurs have a whole new set of buyer interests and passions, including the technology and eco-friendliness highlighted in a number of the show’s more recent enhancements. Firms who wish to appeal to this new target audience need to adapt and evolve their business and service offerings if they want to remain an attractive proposition. The show’s continued investment in expanding the client base with new and diverse offerings means increased opportunities for businesses, making MYS a must-attend event for us.”
Another senior figure attending the show this year alongside James Porter is Patrick McCarrick (Risk & Compliance Director). Patrick will be attending for the first time and the team will collectively spend their time focusing on client and industry contact meetings. They will also be exploring new business leads and gaining valuable market insight.
The four day spectacular offers visitors from around the globe the chance to explore over 580 exhibits from across the full spectrum of the superyacht lifestyle market, including the ‘Tenders and Toys’ area introduced a few years back to appeal to a younger or more adventurous owner. There is also an exhibition of vintage, super and custom built cars in addition to the more established aspects of the show, including the worldwide debut of over 40 new launches which will be on display in Port Hercules.
The award-winning yacht ownership solutions offered by KHMA includes multi-jurisdictional ownership structuring, EU yacht importation, international yacht registrations, crew employment and recruitment, along with management and administration services.
