KHT Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Posted On: 30 Sep 2021
Knox House Trust (KHT) is delighted to “wear it pink” once again in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Isle of Man branch of the charity, Breast Cancer Now.
In addition to turning the KHT brand pink for the month of October, our team will also be taking part in the charity’s annual “wear it pink” campaign which takes place on Friday 22nd October. The team at KHT will mark the day with all staff being invited to wear pink attire and help raise funds through various office events including a cake bake sale, bingo and a tombola with all funds raised going to Breast Cancer Now Isle of Man.
Speaking about their involvement with the event, Voirrey Coole (KHT, Managing Director), commented: “Thanks to research, more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before, but there is still a long way to go. Breast Cancer Now fund world class research to help prevent breast cancer, save lives and ensure people live well with the disease and beyond. It is a cause close to our hearts and we are delighted to help in our own small way.”
KHT are regular supporters of the “wear it pink” event which was first held in 2002, and have been involved in a variety of fund-raising activities for the Isle of Man branch of Breast Cancer Now since 2018.
