Knox House Trust Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of James Porter to its Board of Directors.
James Porter has been appointed Business Development Director of Knox House Trust Limited (KHT). This latest appointment forms part of the company’s growth and development plans, and will see James work alongside recently appointed Managing Director, Mr Anthony Page.
James joined the Douglas based trust and corporate service provider in July 2015 with the remit to develop and expand its yachting and aviation services, through the company’s Knox House Marine & Aviation (KHMA) division. With 20 years’ experience in the offshore corporate services industry, James brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the senior level of the company’s operations.
Commenting on his appointment James said, “I am delighted to be appointed to the Board of Directors and to be in a position to help influence the significant steps we are taking to expand the company’s profile across the globe. Being part of the Knox group of companies enables us to draw on the collective expertise available, when and where necessary, allowing us to create seamless solutions which offer a considerable proposition to clients and their advisors. Working with colleagues based both on island, in the UK and further afield will open up tremendous opportunities for the company and enable us to further extend our reach. This is an exciting time not only for me to be very much part of the next development phase of the company but also for the existing Knox House Trust team.”
Managing Director Anthony Page welcomed the new appointment and added, “James is a proven member of the Knox House Trust team and his hard work and dedication over the last 18 months has been recognised at board level. This role is a significant undertaking for us, and we are confident that James has the requisite skills and experience to spearhead new relationships which will enable us to achieve our business goals with minimum distraction.”
James has recently returned from the prestigious Corporate Jet Investor event which took place in London at the end of January. Key industry leaders from within the business jet community gathered for 2 days of debate and networking in relation to the latest issues and challenges facing the industry today. James also plans to travel to the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva in May, followed by Monaco Yacht Show in September. Events such as these provide multiple opportunities for James to promote KHMA and KHT to global audiences.
