We also welcomed the opportunity as it has enabled us to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to the charity by providing further assistance which will help them in expanding the provision of public defibrillators around the Island, including local businesses such as our own.”
Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation, Chairman, Paul Healey commenting on the sponsorship support from KHT said; “We are extremely grateful to the team at Knox House Trust, without whom essential fund-raising events such as this would not be able to take place. As a self-funding Manx charity we rely on local support from businesses such as KHT to support the valuable work we do in order to try to reduce the number of undiagnosed heart conditions for the Island’s community.”
The Foundation was set up by the Lunt family in memory of their 25 year old son, Craig, a well-respected, talented and popular young Manx footballer who tragically died in April 2005. His death was due to a previously undiagnosed heart defect. The Foundation raises funding to provide defibrillators for all Football Clubs, Rugby Clubs, High Schools, Primary Schools and other sports clubs on the Isle of Man.
