The team at Knox House Trust (KHT) are dusting off their aprons this week to bake up a feast of sweet treats for their cake bake sale in aid of Red Nose Day 2022 on Friday 18th March.
The event will see the team host a day of fun, fund-raising activities in addition to sharing their sweet treats with all funds raised going to Comic Relief.
Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become a popular and much-anticipated event in the calendar, and one which the KHT team regularly enjoy supporting. The money donated to Comic Relief works hard to support incredible projects across the UK and around the world to tackle a whole host of issues including poverty, domestic abuse, equality and mental health amongst many others. The COVID-19 pandemic has made people’s lives harder, so donations are more important than ever. The charity is also working right now with their partners to ensure that Red Nose Day donations can also help support people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
KHT Managing Director, Voirrey Coole commented; “Helping others and giving back is an incredibly important part of the ethos at KHT, so we’re delighted to be supporting Red Nose Day again. Charities have taken such a hit during the pandemic and with the situation in Ukraine ongoing, doing what we can to fund-raise feels like the right thing to do. Plus with all the sweet-toothed among us in the team, we never need much of an excuse to get baking!”
