Every year the staff at KHT nominate local charities that are close to their hearts to receive the contributions staff give each week for their Friday dress down days. Given the events of the past two years with the ongoing Covid pandemic and the toll that this has taken on people’s mental wellbeing, it was agreed that Isle Listen would be the worthy recipient for the 2021 funds.

Isle Listen is a mental health charity that supports the local community (both in schools and the workplace) providing education, prevention strategies and transformative early interventions. With their mission being to help everyone in the Isle of Man feel emotionally empowered and effectively supported with their mental health.

Speaking about the donation, KHT Managing Director, Voirrey Coole said:  “Charities have been hit hard by the pandemic, as has people’s mental health, so it felt right that our donation went some way to support both. Having personally visited the charity last year when restrictions were lifted, it was inspiring to gain a deeper understanding of the incredible work they undertake in our local community, and appreciate how vital support such as this is to them.”
